A perfect match for and replaces the original 2006 Forester X parts including wire splice, wire clip and even insulation paint. Contains more than enough XP fat. The car occasionally flashed engine light codes that indicated the catalytic converter was below the efficiency threshold. Most recently, he threw a new one about becoming too rich. I replaced both sensors. They had 180,000 miles on them. Hopefully this should fix things. They usually last a long time, but not forever. This can be done under the hood if you are a little acrobat. A 22mm or 7/8" open-end wrench sometimes works, but mine was too tight. There wasn't enough room to put a wrench on it where I could even apply much torque. I have a split houndstooth head (I don't think a straight socket will fit on this machine) and a long extension. I had to remove the air filter box, a simple matter to get the bar in the right place. Once it fell off I was able to finish it off by hand. Don't overtighten. It only takes about 15 foot pounds, about what a spark plug takes. Overtighten and next time it will be a BEAR.
