Review on 300 Amp Dual Battery Selector Switch For Marine, Boat, RV & Automotive - SEAFLO by Pat Nard

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good enough for my opinion

Good for price, but terminals are exposed in back so if you want it splash proof, you need to caulk so water can't come in top back. Also I was mounting mine on pontoon boat sides, which is aluminum. The terminal studs stick out just enough to make contact with mounting surface. This could be very bad. I had to put a non conductive sheet behind switch to prevent shorting out. After months of use the screw that holds selector knob on backed off and the entire knob came off. It was easy to put back on, but screw should have been torqued better or maybe had thread lock to prevent this. Even with these issues, the price was right and I'd buy it again.

Pros
  • Cheaper alternative to the more expensive ones and works perfectly...
Cons
  • The 300 Amp rating may not be high enough for certain applications, such as heavy-duty marine or RV use, where more powerful equipment requires a higher capacity switch
