Cheaply made good for me

Very large and cheaply made. Not happy with size of hole i had to cut. Also heard cracking of plastic when attaching the cables. I had to take apart and remove broken pieces and put back together. Not happy and don't recommend. Spend the extra $$$ and get the name brand.

Pros
  • Quality switch
Cons
  • The switch may be prone to corrosion and other types of damage over time, particularly if exposed to saltwater and other harsh environmental conditions

I would recommend this product to a friend

I have been using this product on my boat for approximately four months now. It works great and it was easy to install. That's my feedback!

Pros
  • Perfect product
Cons
  • The cost of the switch may be prohibitive for those who are on a tight budget or who are looking for a more affordable alternative to other types of battery switches on the market

Good product: my feedback

Had two batterys on my boat needed a way to keep both from being run down from the lights. The battery switch works great. Easy to install an it was a day or two early would recommend it to anyone needing a way to separate batterys

Pros
  • Studs could be longer.Unit seems well made and easy to operate.
Cons
  • It seems fine except off is in the number two position on in the opposition

Good enough for my opinion

Good for price, but terminals are exposed in back so if you want it splash proof, you need to caulk so water can't come in top back. Also I was mounting mine on pontoon boat sides, which is aluminum. The terminal studs stick out just enough to make contact with mounting surface. This could be very bad. I had to put a non conductive sheet behind switch to prevent shorting out. After months of use the screw that holds selector knob on backed off and the entire knob came off. It was easy to put…

Pros
  • Cheaper alternative to the more expensive ones and works perfectly...
Cons
  • The 300 Amp rating may not be high enough for certain applications, such as heavy-duty marine or RV use, where more powerful equipment requires a higher capacity switch
