I've been wearing this shoe for 6 months now so I think it's time to finally write a review. On my feet 8-12 hours a day. I'm always reluctant to buy safety shoes because they are stiff and uncomfortable. To my great surprise, this shoe is quite comfortable. Unlike other reviewers, I did not purchase additional or replacement insoles and have been using the original insoles since day one. Every day I come home from work and my legs feel great. No, I don't feel like I'm walking on cushions, but unlike other expensive shoes, these shoes don't hurt my feet. The toe guards are pretty solid as I dropped a fairly heavy 50 pounds on my toes with no problem. Composite fingers are also lighter than steel and don't get as cold in Wisconsin's cold months. The only quality issue is that the lining of my left boot has worn away on my left boot. Maybe because I put my shoes on and off almost every day without tightening them. However, it does not pose any problems in terms of comfort. So 6 months of use and I can probably get at least a full year if not more. I will update in 1 year or sooner if the shoes don't last.
