Review on Experience Clean and Fresh Air with Venta LW15 Original Airwasher in Black by Ivana Kuiarov ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Quite good, but I expected more from it.

For several years, the traditional Boneko E2251 worked for me, then the ultrasonic - also Boneko. Both lived for about 5 years and died at the same time (something in electronics). Once the water was from the tap, now it is reverse osmosis. So there is something to compare. This season, I almost simultaneously bought Venta 15lv and Boneko E2441 in different rooms, deciding that it was better to overpay, but live without ultrasound. The performance of both devices is the same ~ 1.5 liters per day in night mode, and ~ 2.5 liters in daytime. The new boneko is really very quiet, you can safely put it next to the bed. Ventilation in the bedroom is not for everyone. Also, somewhere in the reviews it was that the Venta does not evaporate water at all . If you pour clean water into the Venta to the eyeballs and sit looking at it, then it will be so . The small drum will completely sink in water and no vaunted square meters of evaporation you won't get. And what looks out of the water will remain completely dry. It is necessary to pour water no more than half of the drum, and be sure to add surfactants (what is included, liquid soap, dish detergent, etc. ) Then the process will go. I got my wife's probiotic floor cleaner. It is both a surfactant and water does not go out. If the water is from the tap, then over time you will soak something from hardness salts in vinegar or citric acid, or often buy consumable sponges. If the water is clean, filtered, without bleach, then it will quickly go out and stink. Boneko on clean water began to smell after a week, and no silver bull saves. I had to lightly treat the sponge with a toilet duck and then pour the same remedy with probiotics into the boneco. The smell is gone, and (oh, miracle! ) Productivity has increased by about 0.5 liters per day . Surfactant works here too . Result for the month: in an apartment of 70 sq. M. the work of two low-power units keeps the humidity at the level of 40-50% instead of the original 30% (2 hygrometers at different ends). Humidifiers need to be approached once a day with a kettle of water, something was taken apart and washed only once every 2 weeks.

Pros
  • principle of operation (no ultrasound and consumable sponges), strict design.
Cons
  • Outdated design, noise level, completely inadequate price. A piece of plastic with a fan shouldn't cost as much as a complete washing machine. When I looked at reviews about the previous generation (14th model), the main complaints were buzz and clicks. All this remained in 15 Venta. A slight rattle of the fan appeared almost immediately, the clicks of the walking mechanism came out after a week. You can fall asleep next to Venta only if you are well tired and have the ability to switch off. When completely filled, the small drum is buried in water, and the declared evaporation area simply does not exist. In ogues from Boneko, the large drum touches the water only with the lower part, hence the higher evaporation area and productivity. (True, regular gurgling of water ping through the valve will be added to Boneko) When, a week after the purchase, I decided to go to the store and see the humidifiers live, the manager answered the question about Venta - "Venta? Yes, nothing has changed in it over the past 40 years . " It seems that this is how it is, and a new product line , these are only marketing games, with the preservation of all the old jambs . Yes, about the air washer! I didn't notice this at all. Dust in the sunlight both flew and flies, the water in the pan remains almost clean. Venta is just a small, environmentally friendly, low-performance humidifier with low power consumption.
