Review on Daisy Ball Pump Compact Portable by Bobby Blanton

Disappointed with the quality of this product. I'm trying to find a replacement for a very similar looking pump that I lost. I was specifically looking for a compact double-acting pump with a needle storage compartment. This pump is not double acting, it only pumps air in one stroke. The above product description is WRONG. And yes, you can store the needle upside down like the pump I had before, same design, different finish. There's no way I can do this with one hand, the tolerances are poor so it gets pretty tedious. Somewhere too tight, somewhere too loose. Real metal brass cap, which I thought was a plus, but turns out it was the other way around. It's a lot smaller than a piece of plastic. More difficult to handle and not so easy to grab. The threads are not very suitable, I am constantly afraid of damaging the plastic threads on the pump. Also, the included needles have a slightly different design than the typical Schrader valve needle. It's unthreaded and appears to be a slightly different diameter, I don't think it's compatible with a regular bike pump and such. Either way, looks are deceptive. From the photos this pump looks almost exactly like my previous pump which was a cheap plastic pump but exceptionally well designed and built. It's just a cheap fake. Yes, he can still inflate the ball, but he could be MUCH better in every way.
