The part I received for a "hose" is nothing like the photo shows. The photo that shows "Cap 2 - Hose Connection" shows a way to connect what appears to be a 1" hose to the cap for draining. With the hose going inside the cap. I received a cap that has a 1/2 hose barb nipple on it. Keep in mind, when using the hose cap to drain.there is not way to plug the pool unless you fabricate your hose cap to take a shut off valve, which is what I did. (1/2" hose that is 6 inches long, connected to a 1/2" ball valve - and installed a garden hose nipple on the other end) Or you use the plug and when it's time to drain, you have to quickly unplug and screw on the cap, attache your hose etc. And by them you already have a massive puddle formed.
