I bought this duvet set with the new mattress. The mattress took about 6 weeks to ship and during that time I kept the duvets in the closet in the original packaging. When I finally received my new mattress I made the mistake of throwing away the packaging of this duvet cover because I never expected the quality to be so poor that I would want to return it and I assumed I would before bought for more than a month at In any case, the return period has already expired. After only sleeping with the duvet for ONE night, while making my bed the next day I heard and felt it rip when I simply pulled the end of the duvet over the foot of the bed. ! Sure enough, there was a roughly 2 inch tear in one of the stitching. I looked at my order history for the item on Revain and in fact it couldn't be returned as I bought it 6 weeks ago. I was left with no choice but to close the gap manually and hope it was just an accidental case with a weak seam. Unfortunately, this did not happen and the blanket was torn at two more seams; again just by pulling the edges of the duvet while the bed is being made. There have been 3 distinct tears in less than 2 weeks of use and upon inspection I can already see other stitches that appear to be about to tear. Even though I was very careful with the blanket after the first one ripped, more gently than anyone should have been handling the blanket. To say I am disappointed with this purchase would be a monumental understatement. It's absolutely useless to me. I can't even use it as a dog blanket because I can imagine what it will look like when it comes out of the washing machine.
