I am so disappointed in this blender. I bought it primarily for making frosting and mixing batters. I hate this blender for many different reasons. The low speed isn't low when you turn it on, it spins so fast your ingredients will be flung all over the place. My table, kitchen floor and I were completely covered in powdered sugar and bits of frosting due to the "low" speed. This blender will not handle fairly thick mixtures. When I made the frosting it literally couldn't spin because the frosting was too thick. It all stopped spinning until I took it out of the mix. He tried really hard to turn and when he succeeded the whole car got really hot and in the end it just stopped turning. - There are only 3 speeds and it is difficult to distinguish between them. It's coming; very fast, a little bit faster than very fast and then a little bit faster. I was really hoping to find a cheap hand mixer that would suit my needs but unfortunately not. I don't want my returns window to close because it's going in the bin. I think I will have to invest in a better machine. I suggest you don't spend your money on it, save for the best.
