This Eyoyo 2D scanner is very easy to set up and use. The design of the scanner allows you to place it on the back of the phone. This allows you to scan an object (e.g. books) with one hand without taking your eyes off the phone screen. There are 3 buttons (middle, left and right) that start the scanning process. This provides the flexibility to scan a person. It's not bulky and feels uncomfortable in the hand. Holding the phone with the scanner attached is still comfortable. The scanner adapts to phones with a fairly large body. I tested the Samsung Galaxy S9+ (tall phone), which comes with a sturdy body that adds even more height to the body (total height is just over 6.5 inches). And that scanner is still attached to the phone. would say it's the high end (phone size) for the scanner. If it were bigger you really run the risk of damaging the eyoyo's extensions. pairing with IOS). There was no lag when scanning (using ScoutIQ and book barcode scanning) and the results were very accurate. While Bluetooth is probably the preferred connection method for most, the scanner also offers 2.4G wireless connectivity Direct USB connection The scanner has many options (including 1D and 2D scanning) that can be accessed by scanning certain QR Codes can be set in the manual. Settings such as volume, mute/unmute, vibrate on/off etc. can be adjusted by simply scanning the relevant QR code. This is very handy, I'm not sure how these settings could be done if you don't have access to the manual. Perhaps this documentation is also available on the Eyoyo website. The scanner charges quickly via USB-C (cable included) and while I'm not sure how long a full charge will take, I expect it will easily last a few hours. Without negatives you just don't have access to the rear camera while the scanner is plugged in (since the scanner covers the entire back of the phone). If you are using a wireless charger, this feature is also disabled. You must remove the scanner before attempting wireless charging. These issues aside, overall I find the Eyoyo 2D to be a very efficient and lightweight scanner. And at the current price of $55.99 (at the time of this review), I find it very affordable compared to other scanners with similar specs. There are many more options here! I've only experimented with a few settings that I will definitely use. However, I will continue to explore its nuances to really take advantage of all the features of this little scanner.
