I bought these they help me to pull plants out of sidewalk crevices. I bought three and planned to experiment with attaching them to a long handle. So far I've only used a curb level bend, it works and I think I can sand the end a bit to make it narrower to fit tighter cracks. I know they were meant for cleaning horses' hooves and I remembered these hoof cleaning tools from when I was a kid and some red horses so I looked for these. They look like the shaft of a flat blade screwdriver that has been bent and then dipped to cover.
