Good reliable pump. No complaints!

Easy install for my 2015 Vista Cruiser 17RWD caravan. In this particular RV, I recommend taking the time to remove the mattress before accessing the water tank and pump room. Me? I don't often think that far ahead and go straight to the pleasure! I just want the job done, so I leaned against the tight corner with a stupid little LED flashlight, trading heels for mattress-filled plywood on my back. I have found that I often cause myself more grief than I need to. The pump is actually quite easy to install. Be sure to DISCONNECT the POWER to the pump! Don't worry, I have. I might be a little impatient, but I remember to think safety first. Before you begin, turn off the switch and read the instructions. The hoses are very easy to connect, they just plug into the socket and the latch locks them in place. For all my life I can't figure out how to keep them from leaking. There is an O-ring, but I felt a little play when I wiggled the fitting after it was attached. I sure thought I splashed water, but no. I cut and stripped the wires and used new crimp connectors to attach them to the pump wires. That's all. Screw it to the floor and you're done. it is a pump. He pumps water. This is an engine. Noise, and it's inevitable. One way to make it as quiet as possible is to make sure the hoses don't rattle against plywood or something when you run it, but it does make noise. There is no silent pump that provides the necessary pressure. Good luck finding. Good hard working pump.
