I used the device with a small pillow over the stand and balanced my ankles over the edges. Cons: The stand is made of hard plastic and is incredibly painful. I had bruises after the first use. The legs are held too close together, causing pain in the knees and hips due to the unnatural alignment. Advantages: The concept works: The swelling of the lower leg is significantly reduced after 3 days of use, twice a day for 15 minutes. The timer is excellent, especially in the automatic mode, which alternates between slower and faster spins. I will be returning this device due to the flaws, but I will purchase another model with a softer and larger stand. After my knee surgery, I had leg swelling and venous congestion for several years. If this concept helps to relieve swelling quickly, hopefully it will help vein status in the long term. I'm a tall person with heavy legs. If you are small and have small feet, this device may be suitable for you if it includes an ankle brace. The included padding is a joke.
