This hair mask worked great. The reason for the bad rating is the scent. I'm usually very tolerant of odors in products, with the exception of one particular smell - baby powder. This scent gives me headaches and nausea. If you have this problem, you already know about it and do not want to buy this product. If you don't do it or you're not sure, you probably won't be sensitive, then I say do it. My hair is shiny and soft and feels great. The only thing that bothers me is the smell. I hate to leave it, but only a few hours a day and now I'm not very comfortable. I knew it had that smell when I opened the product but I gave it a try anyway. I was hoping that after rinsing my hair there wouldn't be enough fragrance left to cause a problem. Unfortunately I was wrong.
