My embroidery machine doesn't seem to like pre-wound bobbins. While they can be a lot simpler, I've found that I have to pull back about 10-20 yards of thread for them to work properly. It's just ridiculous and wasteful. So winding my own coils was the answer. This thread is the best I've found for the price. The black one lasts a lot longer (for me) than the white one, so luckily I can buy the white one separately Giant spool WHITE embroidery machine SHELTER THREAD is my main bobbin thread and I order it ALWAYS! If you've figured it out, if your machine doesn't have these pre-wound spools like - or you're just unhappy with the quality of the line on them - and would rather spool your own, THIS is the right choice! The quality is excellent (better than pre-winds) and the coils last a very long time!
