I have many Rachael Ray products, many of which have lasted over 10 years. Durable, stylish, practical and thoughtfully designed. When I saw it I had to have it. I could get rid of my separate shredder and mandolin and the bucket inside would neatly hold any cut/chopped/shredded food. The description said it "had a contoured top handle for safe and easy cutting; The built-in 4-cup ingredient bucket has a sturdy, non-slip rim. Cute! Another really useful product from Rachael Ray! Also, it was about $20 cheaper than other stores. now i know why When I opened it up I found that the top had broken off from the rest of the device. I really didn't want to send it back, so I decided to try supergluing it to the appropriate plastic insert. Didn't go - didn't take. There is nothing to hold on to this item when trying to safely slice or rasp something. I wonder if someone else brought me back and then resented me. I hate giving it a star. I bet it works fine if it ain't broke.
