open wires. Possible future problems?

Plugged into a light bar and it works great. Super bright, good choice of different lighting schemes. The only issue I might have is that there are small wires that are exposed. It's not clear why the manufacturer didn't put them in the flashlight body. I worry that the elements will affect those little wires.
