Have been using this product for 3 months now. I'm a gamer using high quality components that aren't cheap, have a backlight and have multiple buttons for multiple functions. Functions that stop working when I connect my database and mouse to this cheap and inferior product that doesn't do what it's supposed to. My Corsair k100 and my Logitech mouse do not work when I connect them to this switch. After exchanging emails with the technician, the serval told me to use a powered USB hub to solve my problems. After purchasing the hub, my KB and mouse are still not fully working. He told me to connect the hub to port 2.0. Can't do that because it's the only port from which only KB works. And even when I do that, the mouse functions STILL don't work. Because of this, I can't play my favorite MMOs and other games. My only option? Since I have too many, I connect 2 different mice to each system. I only use it to switch between systems, that's all. I didn't have to buy another product to get this to work and it still doesn't work with it. I would give it back for my money but I have no idea about KVM actually working and it was my 3rd other brand. I'm frustrated and giving up my search for now. I hope that in the future I will find this magical product that actually works. Finally, the entire time I was exchanging emails with this technician, I felt like I was a beta tester of their product. I don't mind, just pay for my services.
