As a kid growing up in the mid 60's and early 70's I had a lot of Super Balls and while it was an interesting promise, "flash from the past" is by no means "the real thing". Real Super Balls had a significantly higher bounce rate; You can drop them from a known height and they will bounce 80% or 90% of that height. This ball is maybe 50% at best. It behaves more or less like a golf ball in terms of magnitude of impact. I don't know what the REAL "real thing" was made out of or what processes during production caused it to behave the way it did, but this block isn't. It's also significantly smaller. The real Superball was slightly smaller than the cue ball used on the pool table. This ball is almost exactly the size of a golf ball. For nostalgia reasons I would like to see a real or an exact copy. If that's what you're looking for, this is definitely not it.
