It looks good and all, but it's annoying for many. The size I chose for 8mm fits perfectly. The problem is the opal flat piece. I expected it to sit straight, but it doesn't. So when you groom, wash, wipe, whatever happens in that area, the flat part gets stuck. If you brush/wipe front to back (as should be done with or without embellishments) they will get in the way and stick to what you are using. By then you're sick and you just don't want any more. I have not had this experience with other pieces of jewellery. I think that's how decorations are made. For any other piercing I would say it's fine. For me I'm not happy with that. At least for HF
