This watch is beautiful! My mother still has an old watch with her father's name on a plaque under the actual part of the watch, which he received as a gift for his work as an ophthalmologist many years ago. Her father died before I was born, but she still has this watch, although it stopped ticking and we couldn't just put a new battery in because the case back was all rusted and a bit broken. I bought this and my brother and I installed it (no, it really doesn't take two people to make it - we just wanted to both play the part :)). The hands are beautifully designed (much better than the simple ones that were originally on the watch. We brought our grandfather back to life and gave a new life to a special watch <3
