For the price, this muffler is hard to beat. Since it's rust free it should last longer than the Jeep I put it on. Despite the oval body, the inside of this silencer consists of a straight, grooved perforated tube. No barriers. This device produces a very nice, smooth muffler, but you would think it would be very loud. Turns out that wasn't the case. This muffler offers a very comfortable low-end that's a little louder than the standard but isn't annoying. When driving, it is hardly audible, if at all, and only a pleasantly muffled low tone can be heard when accelerating.
