This cheaper Shark is just as good as the more expensive models. I have had an XL for a few years and bought this model for my shop. I'm glad I did. I will NEVER buy any other brand. I've wasted $ on other brands over the years. I like it better than my $3,000 Kirby. It's lightweight, powerful, easy to assemble and disassemble for cleaning, and easily conforms to hard floors, carpets, and rugs. Very satisfied. The last one I bought lasted 5 years and only had to be replaced when my son dropped it down the stairs and the canister broke.
