Works as described - butyl tape
What I like about this product is that it's thick, slightly wider than the 2x8 bars it covers and it's definitely tacky. Since it does what it says on the tin, it's a bit difficult to peel off the clear plastic layer. But once you get started with that, I can remove the clear plastic while I put in the rubber. It works as promised and as I expected.
