Good for skinny guys
My 6 year old is quite skinny and I complain about the lack of elastic at the waist in boys swimwear because ties are so difficult to manage for younger children. I like the bottom layer of the shorts because it helps keep the swimsuit on my skinny kid when the drawstring doesn't hold up.
