I like the car thermometer. I gave it low stars because the velcro on the back doesn't stay on my dash. The reason I bought the thermometer, even in the Southeast, my van went up to 124°F when reading in this thermometer. This melted the sticky adhesive on the back of the Velcro. Love it, just haven't had a chance to attach it, double sided sponge tape with strong adhesive on either side or the back of the thermometer. I've never had a problem with that double-sided sticky sponge tap in the van, anywhere in the van. It's nice to see when the temperature reaches a healthy temperature then I feel comfortable closing all the doors and windows. We get on with our day. Before I bought a car thermometer, we just didn't think it would get that hot. 110°F boils water.
