Please read the supported car and windows laptops carefully.

I bought this to diagnose lexus from trouble codes and turn off the check engine light. Vehicle year is after earliest model year listed, supported from 1996. The product description does not list Lexus, but the NT301 device menu does not mention the Lexus brand. And for turning off the check engine light, there are no instructions in the paper manual or in the menu option. We could only detect a reset of all codes. Exactly what I needed.

This analyzer has fully met my expectations. Very simple and intuitive, with minimal need to refer to the manual (which is quite detailed). He accurately diagnosed the cause of my Check Engine Light (Trouble Code P0013). Went to YouTube to learn how to replace a faulty VVT exhaust solenoid and after a trip to the Autozone for a new part it was replaced in about 20 minutes. Checked the system again and left. Don't get stuck Think about whether your car needs maintenance, you know what's up

Why take your car to the shop and let them tell you what's up? Then worry if they tell you about a real problem, come up with a bigger one, or come up with a period just to make money! Not just a code reader!

Please note that this is not a typical code reader. It's about technical things. I often had no idea what I was seeing. I learned some functions from YouTube videos. I've learned enough to figure out I have a clogged EGR valve and 02 bad sensors. I have a repair manual for my car and the more I learn about this tool the more I like it. Runs on early OBD2, lifeguard

I was stuck in my 1998 CR-V the whole time. I've checked and rechecked timing, fuel pressure, spark plugs, distributors, everything. The check engine light is out, I'm going insane. Personal data could be compromised

When I received this product I was extremely pleased to diagnose a problem I was having with one of my vehicles. I opened it up, read the instructions and found that I needed to connect it to my computer to download updated software, or download the NT Wonder application onto my laptop and initiate updates using this tool. Great code reader for the price!

For the past few years I've used an Innova 3030 code reader purchased from Walmart for about the same price as the Foxwell NT301 but I've never been a big fan, in fact I really hated it to use Innova 3030 worked but in a pinch. Having bought the Foxwell NT301 and used it for a while I can say that I really enjoy using it.
