Most brackets/clips of this type are at least 2 or 3mm thick. They are very thin, 1mm thick (as stated in the description). They are only designed for very light use. There's a reason they're cheap. However, this is noted in the description, so dissatisfaction with the sensor is user error due to inattentive reading.
