Review on Eastman 41065 5 Foot Pair of Silver Braided Stainless Steel Washing Machine Hoses with 3/4 inch FHT by Jeff Figueroa

Leaked after 3 months! This is a replacement kit of the same. Rated 3 stars for right angle function and 5 foot length. Was hoping the first set was a manufacturer error. The leak started on the inside of the 90 degree fitting, not around the washer ring where it connects to the back of the washer port. No slow dripping was noticed at first, but the floor underneath the washing machine was covered in rust stains and brass deposits that were also evident and ran down the back of the entire washing machine. The leak got worse. When I removed the old hoses, debris formed around the plastic hose hole for the washing machine and in the wall holes for the water tank hoses. Why is the brass degrading in these hoses? I have a water softener. Follow these!
