I used http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000COA31K/ and http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00F9XQ65Q and http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0060U92FS plus some fuse blades to make an inline fused switch to control the radio fuse in my fuse box. My head unit for my car has a short that doesn't always power it down when the car is off, this is an issue because I need some of the functions in the head unit for accessibility. Making the inline fused switch to control when the fuse box gets a completed circuit for that fuse was the cheapest and easiest way I could fix it. It's also kind of neat to have a switch to throw when I go on trips, lights up red but it's pointed at the carpet and isn't extremely bright (not enough to cause a distraction at night).
