Very full and soft, looks great in my new setup! It's definitely a good skin for small fish, and the weighted bulb it's attached to keeps it anchored securely. UPDATE: This decoration will attract and hold all the nasty things in your water deep in the bristles, and even with constant scrubbing, it still manages to get the job done. brownish yellow from the center :( Also, my fish and even shrimp got stuck in this plant and I had to stretch the net at least 3 times to free them. I don't think it will be a big problem if you keep it off the glass so I brought mine inside and haven't had another incident yet (they got stuck between the stubble and the glass) put it in and know it needs a VERY VERY clean.
