Wow. The most sturdy vest we found. Most vests you can pull the clips apart with a light tug, not good for trying to yank your dog out of the water. These clips are sturdy and don't come apart. It's great, can't say enough good about it. buy it. My dog runs from all the harnesses we've tried on him, he runs to get into this one and that is after he's been swimming without it for a few minutes. So, he doesn't like it just because it means swimming is coming. He's faster swimming with it and able to expend much less energy. I easily pull him out of the water with the handle using one hand (he's 66 lbs). I'm really trying to keep this short, so in short.buy it. worth the $$$, not a toy like the >$30 brands. You can sew a mermaid tail on it yourself, if you must. EDIT: 1 year and many swims later, still like new. GREAT product!
