I received my pocket watch today and I love it. It comes in a different packaging than shown in the photo. It comes in several tiers of very smart packaging which would make it perfect for a gift. The watch looks just like the picture and runs great. I have found the watch to be silent unless I am within 12 inches of the watch itself. It takes 30-40 half turns to fully wind the watch and this should be done daily. The watch's finish is clear chrome which means it will show oil and fingerprints, but it brings a very modern look to something so classic. The chain is strong, I have no plans to change it. The mechanism for opening the watch works, although closing it by pressing the button (according to the instructions in the box) isn't as easy as it could be. Opening the watch gives you a full view of the gears, which is fun to show others. It has one downside: the black arrows are sometimes hard to see due to the busy background. Overall, I'd rather have a look at the moving gears than not. Overall, I recommend this watch unreservedly.********************Review Update********************This PM has me for nine years.
