I received these to replace clips on two Schumacher chargers. These clips are no longer than 5 inches as listed on Revain. They're more like 4 inches. These are small copper terminals for chargers. They are not intended for connection cables. To attach them to old wires, simply remove the old clips, peel the wire 1/2 inch, crimp one set of tabs around the last 1/4 inch of insulation, and crimp the other one around. bare wire. If you have a smaller charger, these clips can be difficult to attach to 16 gauge wire. Simply insert a thick piece of 16 gauge solid copper wire before crushing the tabs. They're not very strong, but they're better than the originals and appear to be made entirely of copper.
