Great replacement charging clips.

The battery connector on the original Vector Smart Charger broke in half. Planned to ditch the expensive vector smart charger, but. It was a revelation to see if clamps were available and they were. I mistakenly ordered a heavier clamp and had to return them, but they are perfect for me. The red plus pinched the bare wire after I clipped the old broken clip. Using wire cutters, I removed about an inch of the insulation. and it will do the job with my 15 year old charger. So much money saved. $4

Pros
  • Made in China

  • I vaguely remember

I love these clips, no more shorts. You can handle the Force.

Love these clips. My old charger worked fine but the clips were too small for some batteries. Found these oversized clamps at an amazing price. They are easy to change. No soldering required. Brass is easy to work with. Don't forget to put the rubber grommet of the terminals on the wires first. Then simply clip the top edges over the bare wire, pinch them 1 at a time with pliers and overlap, then pinch the bottom edges and overlap over the rubberized wire of the old cables. Easy as pie, you can

  • Holds up to 8 gauge cable

Good replacement for worn charging clamps

I received these to replace clips on two Schumacher chargers. These clips are no longer than 5 inches as listed on Revain. They're more like 4 inches. These are small copper terminals for chargers. They are not intended for connection cables. To attach them to old wires, simply remove the old clips, peel the wire 1/2 inch, crimp one set of tabs around the last 1/4 inch of insulation, and crimp the other one around. bare wire. If you have a smaller charger, these clips can be difficult to attach

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Looks like the packaging was for a different and much better product. The instructions describe the holes for the screws and spade lugs in the kit, they are not. Revain's ads describe them as average, but they say 'Standard' on the front of the box. On the other hand, the back of the package says "Heavy Duty". Rated at 75 amps, these terminals are made of 0.45 mm (approximately 26 gauge) steel with a copper plating. Without the plastic insulators, each clip only weighs about 20 grams, or about…

do not use your tongue

Good. I like the thin end, works on motorcycle type battery clips. Other connectors are bulky or plastic coated. If you need it for safety reasons, just don't mess around with batteries. The spring is quite stiff, the connection is good. The clamping material (steel) is thin but relatively stiff (in the direction of force application). Step on it or roll a vehicle over it. Maybe it's time for a new one. The copper plating looks thin, I bet it's not very corrosion resistant. We will see. I would

Pros
  • Fits cables up to 8" diameter

  • No performance
