We had my 2007 Sienna fully loaded with four large adults and three children. Note that the history of this van has been well maintained by Toyota, but it may have taken many short trips or something else that did not cause drivetrain build-up. In any case, I noticed on the mountain that the 1-2 circuit jerked. I have read and no one else I could find has experienced this. With no loaded car and light gas, it was there. Hard acceleration would have made it go away, but light throttle, it just had that annoying tremor. Research led me to a product called "Lubguard", specifically the red dietary supplement and product I am reviewing here. Now I tend to hate supplements. I checked "Bobistheoilguy" as well as a few other places and found at least some proof that at least it doesn't hurt the gearbox. After that tonight I loosened the drain plug that let 10 ounces flow out, then screwed it back on and poured out the 10 ounce bottle of this stuff. Then I drove the van, which was 130,000, around town for ten minutes. The trembling is gone. Oh, and it might be a placebo effect, but other gears that weren't bad at all seem to shift even smoother. So that is my gratuitous recommendation for this product. I'm just as surprised as everyone else. I'm thinking of putting something in my wife's Mazda just for fun. It's cheap and it works.
