EXCELLENT. Soaks up water like a camel in the desert. Here's the solution: First, rinse the entire filter with water. Then install the filter in the block. Make sure the bottom of the filter is level with the bottom of the humidifier unit. Place the center body on top. Then install two lateral water bearing units. IMPORTANT: Relax for a few minutes and allow the water to drain and fill the container. You know that gurgling sound. Then give the filter a few more minutes to draw in more water. What I'm saying is if you put a dry filter in the box - and expect it to suck up water - *when* the unit is on? It will not work. After a few minutes, turn on the device. Your choice: 1, 2 or 3. Your home will have comfortable humidified air. (Also, I use a neutralizer designed for aquarium water to neutralize chlorine. Add it to aquariums at the recommended dose and you will notice a HUGE difference. Before implementing this chlorine reduction strategy, this place smelled like a swimming pool.)
