I am very impressed with the durability of these containers. We have just returned to Maine from the island for a vacation. Something really funny and interesting happened with these containers. I'm making chicken soup for my old dog. Since these containers were only leak proof and freezer safe, I used them for our dog. One evening after dinner we returned to our cabin and then found that the chicken soup I had put outside our cabin was gone. I was too lazy to carry it to the fridge in the communal kitchen which is in a separate building so I left it outside our cabin after our dog ate half of it. Later that evening I found it in the fridge of the communal kitchen. I couldn't understand what happened. The next day, two employees told me what had happened. They saw three seagulls going crazy around our hut and this went on for some time. One of them decided to see what was going on and the gulls went nuts and tried their best to open the lid of the container to eat the chicken inside but couldn't. They picked it up and threw it so many times and also tried to break it by nudging it with their beak. But no matter how hard they tried, they couldn't open it or break it. Then finally she took it and put it in the fridge. There wasn't even a scratch in this case. The person who picked it up told me to write a review for this container, so I'm doing it! I really love these containers. After all, they are protected from seagulls!
