As other careful reviewers have noted, the face of the pilot drill is not beveled as it should be. So if your hole in the loop is exactly the same size as the bit guide (unlikely because you have to choose based on the size of the bit which depends on the size of the screw) your hole will end up off center as I have (see photo) . I will be using my center punch again and will never use it again unless the hole in the hinge matches the diameter of the guide exactly. Disappointing but not very surprising considering the price.
