**UPDATED AGAIN** The lock stopped working after a little over a month and locked us out of the house. Fingerprint, passcode and app made the light turn green and said unlocked but won't open. I called the seller but he didn't answer so I called Revain who helped me and got my money back. I got the lock back and now I have to find another one. UPDATED - We installed this article and had to call Revain to find out how to change the direction of the handle and set up our own passcode. The app just said it failed but didn't explain why. The tech support was great and helped me understand that the app says 4-9 characters but is actually 6-9. Adding a star for excellent support and ease of use after installation. The lock speaks when unlocked, locks and even has a small alarm if the wrong code is entered (although it can be a little louder) and stays locked until overridden by the app or actual key. All the different input options make this lock perfect for families of many different ages. After the initial check, I was contacted by Smonet's Jamie to make sure everything was working with the device, and it did. does not require another key. I have a biometric lock in my closet and love it so I liked that it also has a biometric and keypad and key option. I look forward to installing it
