Works like dishwashing liquid. The dishes come out clean, but sometimes there are stains on the glasses. I have a new Samsung dishwasher and I have very hard water. I don't have a water softener, but I sometimes add dish soap to soften the water. The packs are easy to use and you only need 1 dishwashing pack. They came in the mail and all the packages are intact and no liquid was spilled. Depending on your dishwasher, you can get excellent results with it. I always find I have to scrape food off the dishes before it goes in the sink or it comes out messy. It could be my dishwasher. I've been told that it's best to first run hot water in the kitchen sink until it gets very hot and then run the dishwasher. This helps a lot as the water that enters the faucet gets hot immediately. I recommend trying these out.
