Review on Enhanced MBA Accessory: DMT B8250 Magna Base Adapter by Tony Kingdom

OVERVIEW: Purchased to use with an 8" Duo Sharp and some 6" Dia Sharp (through) stones. It was also noted that the magnetic base also holds the slide folds (see image). CONSTRUCTION: The magnet base is simply a plastic base with a thin (1/16 inch thick) magnet on top. OTHER CONSIDERATIONS: Be careful not to scratch the magnet material when sharpening as it is very soft. : DMT makes the best diamond sharpening stones. This is a very thoughtful accessory that makes using large stones much easier and safer.
