My father introduced me to this yellow duster coat that has some kind of dusting oil on it. I mean, they work great, but few people are allergic to the stuff in the fabric. Now these simple 3M traps I found in the maintenance/cleaning/storage section. They are good at removing dust and dirt from the floor. They catch most of the dirt, leaving little to no dirt depending on how dirty the area was. The only thing I didn't like was that there was a bit of production waste on my clothes, small white particles fell off my sheets. This is an accident, usually there is no factory waste. Anyway I finally cleaned my ceiling fan which had a lot of dirt on it. The lightweight 3M trap handled it all without falling down like other dust removal methods. You can use them by hand, but I recommend taking any dust removal tool you like and adding a few leaves. The product sticks to itself so you can wrap it around a boring feather duster. I will order a size larger next time.
