The viewpoint is philosophical, languid, and unhurried. rather a portrait, still life, or interior scene. One could argue that it is not at all appropriate for landscapes. Additionally inappropriate for weddings and reports. unable to follow the movement. Speed is pointless. Despite the IS, a tripod and a steady hand are preferred. Photographs art objects, people, and studio settings well. For photographers who enjoy taking a critical look at textures, fragments, and the way light interacts with objects. It is one of the greatest lenses for reproducing color in this way.
