Price depends on material and material. I found assembly easy and straightforward, installation only took a few minutes. In my humble opinion, security products that benefit people should be sold at cost. I would consider the company's accessories and other products rather than just buying one item in this case. Being a good sized push block, it has limits on how long the board can be cut. Great for narrow cuts with small widths, but I find myself tearing up large pieces and for that reason this product is no better than the simpler pushers. Microjig's recommendation for shafts larger than 16" is to purchase a second grip. I felt very uncomfortable holding my hand over the blade and for this reason I decided to return the product. There are great videos on YouTube of basic small board cutting tools and I find it more useful than this product in my case.
