Review on Forney 30301 Welding 32 Inch 1 Pound by Ronald Reese

Good for exhaust welding

Thought they kind of sucked. I can solder like a beast and Mig is a decent bead but never stick welded. After the first sheet there were problems with gluing. score with a cheap but proven 160A welding machine. In the following way. , touch, good arc, welding moment, click, flush repeat. It was a welder. (ME) After minor adjustments beyond the recommended amperage they weld very well. If you're having this problem, try increasing the amps by 30-50% and see if that helps, then tweak the amps from there. Adjust your driving speed to compensate. I could easily weld a thin wall, galvanized (weld zone ground) steel exhaust pipe. Only the burning was my fault, the break was too long. I was able to set up and refill the potholders around the hole so no problem :) Welded galvanized pipe unprepared, it worked! (exhaust tips) I'm not sure about the gauge of this butt weld pipe, but my pipes overlapped 3 inches so it doesn't matter to me. In addition, in an almost inaccessible place, after several attempts, it was possible to directly weld unprepared rusty metal. It took 3/4 of a pole to burn out the rust and create a strong, sturdy, coin-sized cushion for the hanger. Completely successful welding, there doesn't seem to be any cons, I bought 3 more sizes for the future.
