I have used this product on my boats to seal deck plates, hooks etc with great success. It was recommended to me by a local dealer to caulk the horizontal seams on my van. With my past success, I thought that was the ticket. Also, the name says UV so it should be great. not as much. All the stitches I did last year didn't work. After a year in the sun, the sealer turned ashen and started peeling off wherever I applied it. The previous sealer I used was just an exterior window sealer for the house and lasted ten years. In truth, the old homemade grout was still usable, but it was very dirty, making it look shabby. For applications that don't see sunlight or only see occasional sunlight, this product works well and is easy to use. However, if your boat or RV is constantly exposed to the sun, it will fail quickly.
