I give this sweater 5***** for the quality of material and construction. The sizes shown in the description are for sizes over 50# and XXLg. My puppy needed a sweater. I wanted something in a knit sweater but after buying many clothes I decided to order and redesign this item as it is easy to wear and fits well. Not all of us can do it. This XXLg will comfortably hold a 30 to 40 pound pup as long as they are not overly muscular, but definitely not for a large muscular dog. My Murphy is 75lbs, the length from neck to tail is great, impossible to get the front legs tight in the harness. He didn't want to take it off and will be happy if I reupholstered the front with stretch jersey.
