I was very excited to buy this item to try as we are trying to lead a more sustainable lifestyle. It works about average for removing some foods from our pots and pans, but not well for foods that are really crunchy. However, what's really worrying is that while this product is only made from walnut shells on this platform, the company's website says it's also made from plastic, albeit recycled. That's why it doesn't compost. I'm disappointed that all the websites selling it don't fully disclose what the product is made of. Environmentally conscious customers should stay away from it.
