Ideal for canning and storing leftovers in the fridge.
I used to use another brand of vacuum bags to store leftovers but they are no longer made. I was thinking about buying a FoodSaver vacuum heat sealer but when I saw these bags I decided to forego the cost of the machine and bought a good supply of these bags. They are heavier and seal better than any other bag I have used. Luckily, another brand of hand vacuum pump worked just fine. If you don't have another brand of pump, I recommend purchasing a FoodSaver FSFRSH0051 FreshSaver handheld vacuum pump.
